Speaking of roads going on forever - I've just turned onto the M5 and that seems absolutely endless looking at the map. I suspect the M6 that follows it will be even more so - although at least that will take me to the Lake District :-)

We turn off the A30 at 109 miles apparently. I’ve got a little way to go yet - still 799 miles from JoG!

Her run was epic. She was really injured by the end wasn’t she? Sheer determination.

Yes, the A30 does feel like it goes on forever Treacle. I’ll look forward to getting past 109 miles then jennywren.

The M6 is the longest motorway in Britain I think. Coming from Liverpool and now living up in Scotland I know the M6 well. It’s well over 200 miles and goes up to the boarder of Scotland if I remember rightly.

12 days 😲 That’s well over 70 miles a day 😱

Wow, 12 days, that’s amazing! Just about to go past 50 miles - did someone say we get a postcard, or was that 100? Looking forward to getting one, whenever it comes. I’m just going past a railway station in Victoria - quite a few miles away from the one in London, sadly.

My spreadsheet says actual time taken to do Le jog was around 8 days and 7 hours I think 😂😂😂 I should be in the record books 😂
Of course I would actually have to do it non stop without sleep 😂
