Currently in Gloucester on the A40 - would love to get somewhere near Birmingham by the end of the month if possible - think that's about another 50 miles ish? Does feel like progress is being made now - soon be onto the M5 and heading properly north I do wonder with the people who haven't logged mileage at all whether they realise that they need to so? Does seem very odd to join a challenge and not do anything. The Alison at the bottom of the list for LEJOG 7 hasn't logged anything at all - and we started in October!

One of my end to end mates on Route 66 put the leader board into a spreadsheet to work out positions yesterday! I was in 99th apparantly! But it’s a very long way! Trouble is I’m competing with cyclists! I do wish it was just runners and walkers like Le jog!

Pinkliverbird Jan 2021 4:57pm, 18 Jan 2021 1,888 posts	0 Pinkliverbird I’m the 7th Beverley in LEJOG9 out of 17. Number 8 is less than a mile behind me and 6 is around 13 miles ahead. Quite low weekly mileage for me at the moment as having to start from scratch again. Hopefully can build up to long distance as weeks go by. Anyone know when we get off the A30? Great to see everyone’s building up those miles 😁

Wasn't on the plan at all, but looked at the weather forecast for the next few days and decided to get some miles in before we're either deluged, snowed on again, or possibly both! Am a bit tired now! The A30 seems to go on for ever doesn't it PLB! I hadn't realised the South West tip of England was that large!
