Badger - re hiking. No, it doesn't count.

Half my logged walks are deliberately logged as hikes and I don't really want to change them all. I use hiking for "big" walks on National Trails, in National Parks etc and walks for tootling around at home etc. I like having the Hikes easily findable.

I have put a suggestion in the box to ask Fetch to recognise anything categorised as hiking in all his calculations of walking.

Thanks Synge, I will go and upvote that. Completely agree with your classification, and finding it weird that a hard day on the SWCP would not count towards a badge named for the SWCP!

I don't have anything logged as hiking, but totally agree that it should be included towards the badges - will go and vote

Good idea JCB, thanks.

At one point I was running with my GPS watch for a visual idea of how fast I was going, my phone running an app to give audio time checks each kilometre and the Garmin from my bike in my pocket because it was the only thing that would track my heart rate chest strap.
