Despite 30 days of bug bonuses I’m only on a score of 8910. Won’t even get the 10k badge (unless I get a lot of visits to my traffic lights today!)

Well done to Pothunter and 57.5

If you've got traffic lights you may not be able to get flowers ph but they're the only way I was able to make it over the 10,000. I'm trying to keep the flowers off roads so that cyclists don't accidentally pick them up when they're only worth a few points. I've got four flower beds on the go at the moment - plant a few and water a few each run.

I run and bike in the same area CW, for WSW purposes. Over 100% of my score is flowers, everything else totals a negative number!

57DoP, thought it must be points from cycling, it skews the top end of the leaderboard. I couldn't get to 25K unless I upped the amount of cycling I do.

When I had a go at Fetchpoint (for badges purposes, CW will understand 😉) I struggled to see how I could get 10,000, never mind the higher ones. And then I twigged that I had no idea how an entire part of the game actually worked: the flowers 🤦‍♂️

As I never cycled until lockdown, and only locally even now, so the big scores are out of my reach I suspect, but at least I realise that I might be able to get the 10k badge now without having to collect every single gem within 5 miles every day... Still need to actually figure out a flower plan though.

I found that I'm automatically planting and watering a lot of flowers if I run just a bit further than the edge of the circle to get the bug out. The watering really adds up over time. I'm up to over 12000 now with no traffic lights or other runners in the area.
