Hi Jenny. The Burning The Candle one isn't even just twice in a day, it's "For logging training before 9am and after 5pm on the same day"
When you have the badge it will say when you earned it, by which I mean on the page for the badge itself, not the notification thingybob at the top. Might help us to work out what is happening if you check the date on it.

I got the burning the candle badge today having given it back yesterday as well. I’ve kept it this time because having looked through my log I definitely have earned it at some point this year. Maybe the badge dispenser got blocked up? The date on it is today by the way.

Jenny, I think you’ll keep getting it back every time you log training as there is something in your pas training log triggering the badge. If you are sure you don’t deserve it, maybe send Fetch some feedback.

I like the idea of an Avoid Everyone badge but agree earning it through a purchase goes against everything Fetch stands for. Maybe the badge should be for logging training during lockdown?

I had that ages ago with that badge. I wondered if it was affected by running in Australia and a time zone thing. When I reported it to Fetch he said “I won’t tell if you don’t” which did add a slice of perspective.
The easiest solution is to get out there and earn it properly
