It's amazing how much he's broken the record by! Well done to Jack.

Fantastic performance. Oh to be young ... fit ... and talented :-D

I'm sure we've said it before but I can see this record standing for a long time. The conditions (at the front end of the race, at least!) have really favoured fast times.

John Kelly has again said today they were perfect conditions and wished he'd had it like this for his PW record. No snow, no mud, no bogs, no wind. Cold he can deal with. Makes some sense. Depends how cold I guess.

Unbelievable performance. It seems the conditions have favoured some, although in his interview Jack said the icy trails were very hard on the legs. He said he almost DNF'd earlier in the race but focused and got on with it. He has a clear deserved win after last year's disappointment.

Amazing performance! We watched the Spine documentary on Netflix, which was great for an overview, but we both wanted to find out more about the stories of the individuals - it was like they crammed so many in, no-one had enough time to share it all.

For anyone who is interested, I've done a bit of analysis on 100k events (using data from mortals, not these superhuman people): fetcheveryone.com/blog/3/2024/1/478013
