Fenners, do you wear glasses generally? varifocals just for reading seems a bit extravagant The thought of contacts makes me feel sick, I'm not very good with things near my eyes I like the look of the Nooz - someone else recommended them to me, with the little case they'd be safer in a pack pocket than my usual cheapie readers are. |

Yes, Rosehip. Due to old age ( ) I need varifocals, or longer arms.

I have only recently transitioned to varifocals rosehip! I can actually read without glasses but it became a real problem having to take them off all the time. They really didn’t take a lot of getting used to. I was really quite stubborn about not having them for several years now but the real clincher was being able to read my phone without having to take them off! My sister has a pair of varifocals just for reading when she’s at work! |

I’ve got the armless Nooz in my bumbag and these in my backpack: nooz-optics.com Armless sometimes an issue if very sweaty 🥵. The thin hard case slips in a pocket well and takes a lot less space than normal specs. |

my reading glasses live on top of my head. I can read maps in good light and my laptop on a good day, but small print and poor light or if I'm tired then I struggle. Loosing my glasses whilst out and needing to read a map has been a problem twice so far - luckily I had the map on my phone and could zoom in to check what I needed to and didn't end up getting (very) lost |

Yes, I think I'll try one of those as well as the Nooz - it just gets complicated with a cap as well (and my plait(s)) Cap - that's another issue, I could do with one without the velcro adjustment bit at the back - made a right royal tangle in my hair today. The shopping list is getting long again. I thought this running malarky was supposed to be simple |
