Rosehip Jun 2021 8:29pm, 9 Jun 2021 21,371 posts	0 Rosehip Fenners, do you wear glasses generally? varifocals just for reading seems a bit extravagant The thought of contacts makes me feel sick, I'm not very good with things near my eyes I like the look of the Nooz - someone else recommended them to me, with the little case they'd be safer in a pack pocket than my usual cheapie readers are.

I can actually read without glasses but it became a real problem having to take them off all the time. They really didn’t take a lot of getting used to. I was really quite stubborn about not having them for several years now but the real clincher was being able to read my phone without having to take them off! My sister has a pair of varifocals just for reading when she’s at work!

Snoot Jun 2021 9:16pm, 9 Jun 2021 2,659 posts	0 Snoot I’ve got the armless Nooz in my bumbag and these in my backpack: nooz-optics.com Armless sometimes an issue if very sweaty 🥵. The thin hard case slips in a pocket well and takes a lot less space than normal specs.

I can read maps in good light and my laptop on a good day, but small print and poor light or if I'm tired then I struggle. Loosing my glasses whilst out and needing to read a map has been a problem twice so far - luckily I had the map on my phone and could zoom in to check what I needed to and didn't end up getting (very) lost

The shopping list is getting long again. I thought this running malarky was supposed to be simple
