Thats a good shout NDW thanks. I'm surprised there appear to be places still available this year, sadly I'm booked that weekend but I'll definitely consider it next year.

Here's my full route trace from EfGB at the weekend. S was against the wind so tough at times, Fri afternoon especially so. Finished 10th overall, 3rd for ascent, 1 of 3 taking part to climb 3000m+ in the 48hrs. Great fun weekend with lots learned for next time. |

Just a quick early heads-up for y'all..... Next years Anglo-Celtic Plate 100k will take place on Saturday 16th May 2020, at Boddington Near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The England team will consist of 5 Women and 5 Men. The International Women's Team Race will be calculated by the lowest aggregate times of the first two women to finish for each country, and International Men's Team Race will be calculated by the lowest aggregate times of the first three Men to finish for each country. The course at Boddington is a loop of 3,537km in a rural area and the runners go off the main loop to the finish at Boddington Manor. There will be a 50K Open Race starting after the 100K race. The course record for 50K is 2hrs-50mins-11sec by Paul Martelletti. The website address for race Information and to enter online is britishultrarunning.co.uk however it won't be live until 1st September, so if you're interested, stick a note in your dairy. |

Quick question about Last (Wo)Man Standing type events: how would you approach them? Run each loop and attempt to recover before the next, or try to keep moving as much as possible, i.e. run/walk leaving a minute or two between loops to restock before setting out again?
