Lasagne Sandwich
Lasagne made with loads of layers of pasta sheets, so a nice firm sliceable consistency, then place in between 2 slices of bread
Advise wearing clothing protection, can get messy

Ding Derby merrily on Tup
I’m not adverse to a pasta sandwich. Last night’s pasta well covered with sauce (probably not best with mince) served cold between two slices of bread

Thunder and lightening.
No idea who invented it but I'd like to shake them by the hand. White bread, toasted. Thick layer of clotted cream and topped with golden syrup

Given the time of year, I'd suggest deep fried mince pie sandwich. Have yet to try one though.
Not so much snacks, but meal when a student : pilchard curry. Tin of pilchards (in tom sauce) + curry powder + heat. If any found, add froz peas before the heating.
And now in later life - pilchards and cold baked beans

Tomatoes and sliced onions heated in a frying pan, no need for oil. Once they're softened, cover the lot in grated cheese and heat in the pan until the grated cheese melts. Then pull the lot out and chuck it into a sandwich. The more adventurous diner might chuck some malt vinegar on to add a bit of tartness and soften it up.
This can also be done in an oven by arranging the ingredients on an oven-friendly plate, from which the melted mixture can be scraped off and served on bread.

Spiced biscuits on bread.
Nice crunch and something sweet. For a Dutch person who loves chocolate sprinkles on bread, this isn't weird at all!
