Ding Derby merrily on Tup
I had a colleague in the 90’s who ate salad cream sandwiches - cheap white sliced bread, no butter or marge, plus salad cream

Sushi.
Marnutyo Sandwhich
Marmite, peanut butter and mayonnaise.
I have no idea how I came up with this combo but it was a firm favourite in my teenage yrs and I now have a desire to make it again.
Nice on toast for a change too.

Weetabix with orange juice (instead of milk) - it's absolutely foul and I threw it away after the first couple of mouthfuls. Tried it once when I'd run out of milk.
Curry on toast - probably not a new thing at all, not totally dissimilar to curry and naan - but should not be allowed according to Mrs VJ (who is happy to eat a chip sandwich). When eating leftovers from the night before for lunch, such as chilli, bolognese or curry, will often have it on toast as it's easier than a single portion of rice or pasta...

crab cocktail sandwich - crabsticks, mayo, lettuce, ketchup. You need the lettuce to keep the mayo and ketchup apart.

Occasional post-run treat: toasted bagel, one half spread with peanut butter, one with Nutella, squished together. Eaten carefully (the spreads get runny as they warm up) and washed down with a carton of orange juice if available.

Weetabix with fruit juice (grapefruit rather than orange) instead of milk was A Thing in the slimming class my mother led in the 1970s/1980s. Probably around the time my sister's favourite sandwich was cheese, jam, and whipped cream.
Other snacks plagiarised from my own household: eL Bee!'s children were partial to something called Omelwich - an omelette cooked in a casserole lid in the microwave, eaten between two slices of buttered bread. Fellmouse, meanwhile, invented Peas in a Cup. Pour frozen peas into a cup, cook in the microwave, eat with a fork.

Melted Mars bar spaghetti. Melt the hell out of 2 Mars bars and add spaghetti and mix then run. Great energy food. Mix/match with Snickers/Flakes and Fusilli.
