Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
My son's secret ingredient for Cheesie Mac was Worcestershire Sauce. And it def made it better.

I accidentally discovered last night that balsamic vinegar is nice addition to buttered Scotch pancakes. So I'll go with that, I'll call Scozzese Wahey (Italian + Scottish).

(By the way it was accidentally cos I was doing avocado, mozzarella and tomato salad to go with my pasta, and that gets a drizzle of balsamic. And the drizzle dribbled across the plate to the pancake that I was scoffing along with hot cross buns and anything else I could stuff in my mouth, being stavationous from having gymmed for nearly 2 hours and being nearly half past eight!) :-) G

We always have our omelettes in a baguette with olive oil.

Toast with peanut butter and marmalade.

Cheese and mustard sandwich.

Cheese on toast with mustard, ketchup and oregano. Cheat's pizza.

I like omelettes, I like baguettes, I use olive oil frequently enough.... but "omelettes in a baguette with olive oil" sounds absolutely rank

Raptors Claws are Coming to Town
Oooh, yes! "Cheat's pizza" made with either crusty bread or crumpets topped with pasta sauce from a jar and cheese.

Weetabix with syrup spread on the top. Used to be a Saturday teatime treat. I haven't tried it for years

We also have Yorkshire pudding as a pudding with sugar on.

And one of my favourite snacks is raw cauliflower with mayonnaise. I think that's quite normal tho

I Saw ishep Come Sailing In
On whatever day it is each year, Facebook memories reminds me of the time I accidentally invented Jaffa Cakes on toast - having only just enough of either cheap orange marmalade or Nutella to go on one of my two rounds of toast, I put the other on the other - it was a short hop to sticking them together and eating them as a giant, crunchy, breakfast Jaffa Cake.

Sadly, I have just run out of marmalade this morning, and haven't had Nutella in the house for some time, so no photos possible today.

Oh... also, just remembered that one of my friends suggested in the comments that a similar thing could be done with crunchy peanut butter and Nutella to make Snickers on toast :)
