I gave mine away to a charity but they couldn't get the couch out so will have to carve it up. Some big scratches on the front door now.

Trying to pin some dates down. The chain (inc me) wants 3rd Nov but the solicitors are still quibbling over a couple of very minor things and my ex has to sort out some financial details. So we are unlikely to exchange this week. Now hoping for 9th Nov. And that ex comes good with his financials-that bit is looking quite hairy

Finally exchanged today and will complete on 9th. XH has denied ever saying there might be an issue with his financials and assures me it will all be ok. Excited but also scared, there's so much to organise!

How does it normally work out with divorce always 50% equity share.

HOD, I think that's the norm, but it may depend if one of you has more of a claim, or there are other finances to take account of. I was clear when we separated (5y ago) that we should share costs of house until we sold as I wanted to be sure I got 50% (I've carried on living there) We've a business property jointly owned which we still need to sort out, we couldn't tie it in with the house sale. |

HOD - certainly not "always" 50/50, and I'd suggest it's not even "the norm" where there are children involved (and their time won't be split 50/50 between parties) and/or there is a significant difference in the "earning potential" of both parties.

Well I earn more and am still paying the mortgage so certainly won't be paying for something I have no share in !

Did I post this before? They've kept bringing it down in price, so now it's pretty cheap for the area but vulnerable to being broken in possibly. Check out the patio doors to "garden" pic. Just for a laugh, I'm not thinking of buying it. zoopla.co.uk |

Oh that 'garden' is hilarious! It really shows how wide angle photos give an illusion, the fitting room looks big until you see it from all the other angles. They'd be better leaving out that last photo.
