Lol Hann. I tried the spikes in warm-up and they felt nice and light BUT my calves were a bit tight and the unfamiliarity with them meant I went with my road racers. I'll definitely try them on a track session though and would like to use them in the 1500m and 3000m.
I was pleased to only run 7 secs outside my 5k road pb on the track tonight as I find racing on the track tough.

Well done Rach I'd say run in those new spikes in training and next time you will be flying even faster

Time for an update. Following yesterdays 5 mile XC round Riddlesdown Common (road race huh!) did the southern vets tonight. Run to track. A 200m in 30.7secs and a 3000m in 12mins 7secs followed by a triple jump of unepic proportions then run home. Didnt get a chance to take my tracky bottome off all night.:)

Steve - I thought that considering that you raced Sunday - you did so well on Monday!!
My turn now...100m and 3000m - might sneak in the 200m if any other girls are running.
Now Macmillian says I should be running 100m in 21secs - that is WAY too slow - I am capable of faster than that...I am aiming for 15 secs or less...
