Is there a good place to find open meetings? I stumbled across a local one in the end, but cannot make it until the July meet.

Some say Athletics Weekly is the place to look. I've even emailed some local clubs only a few replied. |

Just found this thread via another thread and thought it would be go to join. I've only started track this season and running last summer, so just trying to see what is the right distance for me. So far I've done 3x400m 55.65, 55.50, 54.22in that order so all pb's and the last in the same day, heat and final 1x800m 2:02 3x1500m 4:39, 4:37, 4:30 all after other races before hand Have a 800m this weekend so will be interesting to see how it goes. |

Alan, you seem to be very good at 800m - maybe that is your best distance? My next target is 4:30 for 1500m at well, but I have an 800m race in Exeter next Tuesday and I'm hoping for around 2:10 Good luck with your 3000m Ross. |

Cheers RF - I didn't run the 800m in the end, I went to a beech party instead. Good luck with a 3000m Blister, it seems to be that or the 400m, i think it was a good time considering i am not a sprinter or done any sprint work. hope the 800m goes well. |

Well you certainly have natural speed! Looking at your WAVA, the 800m gives you about 83.5% where as the 400m gives about 80% - which is very good BTW.
