Hahaha Rach - you are funny!

I really like recent ones of me at the Dorking 10 - or even the marathon ones (with the naked boy!) - but they took an old picture of me with my pot belly hanging out all over the shop and I just look like it is all too much...haha.

Really looking forward to seeing you next Friday!

Hey Pam,

Summer is the best time for track races - Rosenheim is the league event that I took part in for my club and it REALLY doesn't matter if you are fast or slow - everyone gets treated the same.

I am definitely going to give it a go again as I want to get my 100 and 200m times down - cos I know I am faster than that...:-)

Oh and if you think you are slow - there will always be someone slower!!

:-)

Thanks Booboo.
The plan for this year was to try some track races, just never got round to it. I'll certainly will try next year, but some middle distance stuff. Though i'm doing a mile race later this month (not on a track though) which i'm looking forward to.

Ooh - let me know how your mile race goes! I am down to run a 1500m and 5000m race later this month!! But I am concerned about the 5000m as it is around 24 laps of the track...I think...

Boo, 5000m is 12.5 horrible laps of the track...well it was horrible when I did mine because it was really hot and I hate the heat.

Will do. The shortest race i've ever done (not including school sports day) was a 3km last year that was in Gloucester Park in Basildon. So a mile will be just crazy.
I'm sure you'll be ok in your races. I know you will.
