Gobi - You got lapped in a 5k???

Oh and I totally except being lapped in races like ultras, e.t.c. I just found it hard being lapped in a race that is only 1.87miles...still that is the track for you.

Have you had any sleep then Mr G?

If you want some pics of how to run the steeplechase I have some class ones on my flickr page of Gobi "swimming" in his steeple debut.

Well done on fechie of the month Rach hope your 5km goes well.

Boo was in supportive mode last night. I "cruzed" around the 10x400m in 86-89 secs. A bit tired after races on Sun and Mon and looking to a 5 miler road race this evening. Looking forward to a rest/recovery day tomorrow.

Good luck tonight Steve and thanks for the wishes for tonight. Sounds like you need that rest day.

I'd like to try the 100m or 200m one day soon. My club does them at the southern women's league meets but (understandably) the fast U20s all get to run them. I had to run an 800m at the last meet and it scared me!!

Yeah - I was knackered last night and I decided to just watch from the sidelines...I don't think that dropping this from my schedule was too much of a problem as I will be 'tracking it' on Thursday - 100m, 200m and learning how to start if I am racing these distances...

Really looking forward to it actually!
