Only 38 finishers at Thurso today. I'm not surprised, the forecast was particularly grim! It turned out to not be too bad to run in, as it was sheltered from the worst of the wind down by the river. I felt sorry for our volunteers though!

A lot of Scottish ones struggle in the Winter. Had a look at Crinan Canal earlier and there was 30 runners.

Nearly 200 at Elgin which is about normal. Despite a nasty forecast. In fact the weather held out just long enough.

My dog nearly made a deposit in the finish funnel and I lost my finish token so they might not let me back.
