As I said earlier I ran this morning. My mam was running home after visiting my brother. Done some housework had a Sol in the bath (not feeling great) and got out to missed calls and a text. Geordiemum only went and fell over coming down a bank - crossing to see the horses went headfirst. She’s battered her nose and her teeth have gone into her mouth she’s a right mess. More gutted she won’t make 10m this week!!! What am I to do with her??

Now I know where you get it from GG 😀

I hope Geordiemum is not too shaken and feels able to run again soon.

GG, I suppose GM's appearance is due to your treatment of her? What a cruel daughter!!
I do hope she makes a good recovery. You must look after her and give her some tlc - something our daughter doesn't seem to do for us!!

Let's hope GM recovers soon, the wounds heal and that only pride has been bruised.

Eeehhh Ev what has she been saying to you!! Have you joined us on a run before 🤔

My mistreatment today was not to meet her for a run. She’s a worry - maybe time for tables to be turned.

Poor GM! Hope she heals quickly.

Went out for a run yesterday with hubby and with daughter on her bike - thats the first time we've managed that. Was rather fun :-)

went to see GM last night, she is doing ok. Been to dentist who cleaned up the wounds and advised on treatment going forward. She looks a bit battered and scraped but no bruising although I suspect it may follow.

She hadn't been able to find her gloves so had worn leather gloves OMG they were trashed, so glad she had those on or she would have been in a complete state. Thank you for all the good wishes... she was pleased to see when she counted up her miles she had hit 11.... honestly there is no hope for me hahah.

About This Thread

Maintained by geordiebells
*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

(When you go in give yourself a colour so I know you're wanting to be on the sheet so I can keep it tidy)

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
