Yes - if you log something this afternoon it will count for this week's grid - as will anything logged next Monday morning. So you can log 8 runs + 8 cycles + 8 walks in each square per week

Yes, HG. In your example, they both count for the same match. If you want to do it again the following week, you'll have to run twice on Mondays, or at least split a run. It's something I'd like to be done away with (Monday morning activities being a matter of players' choice which week they belong to). However, when I asked the forum's opinion a few weeks back, a sizeable majority wanted the status quo and enjoyed the tactical aspect that it brings to the game.

Thank you. I've got 4 squares within 200m of my front door (just coincidence of where I placed my grid). I could mountain bike, run and walk that every day (x 8!) - might that get me at least one owned square, perchance? I may play multiplayer after all (totally changing my rules on the fly here, by the way!) :-) G

not tempted to buy one of those big meter or so deep paddling pools and position it right over the corner where they meet, :DG?

HappyG, you could place your grid better. You could have 4 squares within 20m of your front door if you moved it. And yes, your strategy will get you safely into the third week of multiplayer and probably the fourth week (unless someone else isn't doing the same thing in the same squares).

@everyone: thanks for all the pats on the back for securing my Gridmaster this morning...
I had 2 Goals for this week: get my 200 squares badge & then, do my best to get the 225...
200 was relatively straight forward: I have a route that covers at least 165 squares & then, targeted the gaps.
The final 7 squares were troublesome & I had to pay my respects in a Cemetery, sneak onto a closed Hotel’s grounds (small barrier blocking off access to the corner of square I needed) & the 4 worst, were all together, in a wooded section of Sutton Park and 2 of the squares had no trails to access them...
They were the ones I was worried about this morning: I just plunged into the trees & hoped I’d gone high enough to be in the inaccessible squares & that once I was in; I didn’t cut back & miss out the last square...
I was convinced that I was going to get back home to see my score was 223 or worse, 224!
Was a real relief seeing 225!

As I said, 200 & 225 badges were my goal, this week; before I took a break.
Now I’ve cracked the Top 20 & grabbed those Badges: I’ll probably leave WSW for awhile, as I have to do some serious Bike Miles this month & 90% will be out of Area.
Hopefully, return & have a proper crack at Multiplayer, at some point...

So, 1v1 wasn’t my goal this week &, I think due to the multiplayer 1/4 Finals; everyone missed a corker of a battle between Macca in 6th & me, just in Top 20 at 18th (gap in rankings due to most of Top 20 taking a break!)

This is what you missed:
Friday 18:50
Macca visited 124 Holding 104
Me visited 205 Holding 106

Saturday 20:50
Macca visited 144 Holding 115
Me visited 218 Holding 101
I did a late evening walk & pulled score back to 104 - 102 to Macca

Sunday 19:50
Macca visited 156 Holding 120
Me visited 221 Holding 96

Potentially, game over I thought...
Sunday 23:00 after another evening walk...
Macca 113 - Me 99

Monday morning 08:50
With everything to play for, I got up early & went out on my bike to hopefully grab the 4 missing squares & try to dent Macca’s lead...
(had to split ride, as nature forced me back home)
Macca visited 156 Holding 106
Me visited 225 Holding 108

10:12 & back from 2nd part of Bike Ride
(33mls ridden this morning)
Macca 98 - Me 112
However, as an experienced WSW player, I was expecting a final ‘targeted’ run, from Macca, to seal victory...

Checked scores at 11:43 & Macca had uploaded a 6ml run: scores now 121 - 99, in Macca’s favour!
Game Over!?!?!?🤔🤷‍♂️🤔🤷‍♂️🤔🤷‍♂️🤔

Not necessarily...

Unbeknownst to Macca (& equally, not to be expected); after my 33ml Bike Ride, I fuelled my body (Ride was Fasted), dug of my old Reeboks & Gear & (very gingerly) went for my 1st Run in 6-7 years: targeting Cake 🍰 & 1-2 point squares...

Uploaded 5ml Run & score didn’t change!

Lots of swearing at phone 🤬
Logged out & back in, at least 3 times, until...
11:46 Macca 105 - Me 107
But, still 14 minutes left...

2 pieces of cake 🍰 5 mins walk from my house; would Macca see & go for draw or sneak the win...
Had just started to ‘warm down’; however, couldn’t risk it...

So, quickly logged into Fetch App & hit walk...

11:58 2 pieces of Cake claimed

final score 105 - 109, in my favour.

So, glad I put myself ‘on a break’ after targeting Gridmaster!

PS: I have no plans to run again, for at least a year!
