That fabric is great! I have some running leggings like that, but that's a whole other thread!

That is excellent fabric I am contemplating a temperature blanket - crocheting a row a day with colour dependent on temperature - but not sure what temperature to take, or where to find it for the days I've missed already. |

I’ve seen some where they’ve done max and min, one inside a small square and the other outside. I’ve also seen some where they incorporate the weather, like a sparkly thread for rain. The options are pretty endless! Just had a look on Facebook. Search ‘Scheepjes temperature’ and there’s lots of great examples. They’re not for me, I find the irregular colour changes a bit jarring, I prefer a pattern or symmetry! |

I would definitely lack the determination to see a temperature blanket through for a whole year... I think they can look very cool (no pun intended) though

I found historical figures here timeanddate.com So now need to decide a colour palate if I do it. Probably greens for the cooler temps and purple for warmer. I enjoyed making this blanket a few years ago (when my Mum died - I called it my mourning blanket!); it has a neutral colour between each row so the colours flow more naturally: feltedbutton.com I really should find something new - always good to have an excuse to browse patterns. |

For 2017 I did a sky blanket. An impression of the colour of the sky at noon each day. Got bored after 5 months so it’s not quite blanket size but it makes a good wrap for socialising in the garden. |

They both look great! This is likely to be a transitional year for me in some ways so I want to do something to mark it. I'm not sure purples and greens give me enough options so may bring orange in as well; looking for 12 colours in total.

I’ve been taking a photo of the sky every day! I’ve not got a plan yet for anything crafty! I might just leave it as that simple this year but I have seen some great 😊 ideas!
