HB I did an earlier one of hers: https://www.ravelry.com/projects/drelll/fairisle-club-3-lerwick. It gets quite a lot of wear in winter. It was fun, but really quite difficult: stranded colour work in the round I can cope with (and there was quite a lot of that) but on the flat it's something else!

I actually prefer colour work done flat - probably because it’s the way I did it years ago.
I’m unsure enough about the kimono shape and neckline to not spend that much money though

That is a good idea - I've thought about offering them as it would be handy to know you have a clean face covering in a bag. Are they an envelope/pillowcase sort of construction?

I absolutely love the colourwork in that jacket HB.

But I agree... the back panel is stunning... but the design of the front .. not quite right.

I don’t have a particular preference with flat or in the round stranded colourwork, but I would be so slow .. probably 6 months work for me, assuming I don’t get distracted.

Meglet... you make me desperate to crotchet!

I need a beginners project that has that beautiful style.
