Today I’ve made a scrub top and three scrub caps. By slightly miscalculated as now I don’t have any more thread of the right colour to make another scrub top even though I haven’t sufficient fabric! (But I have discovered that the craft section at a nearby garden centre is open if I can’t find anything suitable)

I’ve also improvised this

Sweet pin cushion. 😀
I’ve just bought some glass topped pins on Amazon ( watching too much sewing bee) They are dreadful. Leave permanent holes on the fabric.

I think I should have opted for silk pins?

None of you warned me I'd need to *iron*! Had to get it down off the cupboard top, it's only been used for interviews and Hama beads... The board is in the loft, but I used a folded teatowel on the ceramic hob!

Ha ha! Ironing is pretty essential to neat sewing especially if it’s clothes.
