ah good, I've never done it but like some of the effects. I think the reverse holds the key to working out what stitch it is, if it was straight forward fair isle you'd have had the floats at the back

On joining crochet squares for blankets - it doesn't have to be onerous or long-winded. I've never sewn them, couldn't bear the thought of it. Join as you go is great; you integrate the final round of the square into the joining process. The "zip" method is quick and neat. And the last blanket I did used a flat braid join, it was super-quick and looked good into the bargain. This post is a very good collection of the options: mooglyblog.com - number 5, 7 and 11 are the ones I mention above. |

Very nice purps...what yarn is that? I've had a look at the pattern, and it's funny how the UK calls single crochet double crochet and double crochet treble crochet. Mildly confusing for me, from Canada where we use the US terms. Later this year, when I have time, I'd like to try this out... I'll try make a sample swatch to see how my brain gets around it...a nice bite-sized experiment for me now when I'm bored with studying endless bits of yoga!! |
