How about just building a big fence round Reykjavík like they do in the apocalyptic movies so we can get on with our lives? Which failing, only opening the ski slopes to the region's residents since we are the ones who pay for it? It can't be that hard to work out a system. I can guarantee you, if the infections were up here, Reykjavík would be carrying on regardless.
