Ha. I actually meant emdee. I'll let you go sub 3.20 first and give me something to chase :p He's more than ready for sub 3.15. I think he's just being a bit lazy and training for 10 marathons or something.

My 1st big chunk 3:54 to 3:39 was a bit emdee like but a whole lot dafter with a run/walk from 18 miles with the most painful knee ever lol. And oops. Altho if my wee fella wasn't due in hospital that night I think the mindset to push on would've been better.

The 3:59 to 3:54 came from going out for a laugh an a chat with Katypie where it would be easy to drop out due to Newcastle Town Moors laps an no real Mara training - ran even paced without really thinking about it :-o in sleet wind rain snow balticness :-o

That's good as I have no intention of ever getting 3.15.
I was actually thiking the other day what I would do when I got 3.30 and I honestly don't know as I don't think I could go any faster, it just sounds too fast. I never thougth I would beable to do anywhere newr 3.30 so anything beyond seems like asking far too much!

I think you've seen through my plans GF and Smout! srsly, if I wasn't pacing at Brighton and MK, I'd probably have had a go at sub-3:20 at one of those. As it is, it'll probably be in the 2nd half of the year.

Just you and me in Hull Mike? A decent sized bus would probably be handy, but that's not going to happen.

I'm feeling good. No adverse effects after a 12 miles of "tempo" at HM pace last night! Actually the third fastest 12 miles I've run in 12 months. And that includes 3 Half Marathons!

If you're running 12 miles at HMP pace in training, surely that means your half mara PB is a bit soft...... Remind me to bet on you when you next run a swift half :-)
