I'm after advice from you guys and girls, its two months until Bungay.

Honest self-appraisal, 8 minute/miling is relatively easy, completing a marathon is relatively easy. So my analysis is that I have the pace and the endurance to finish BUT not the combination of the two.

What should my training be like to address the issue of running at the required pace for the whole event.

Progressive long runs where you jog say 15 miles then when your legs are a bit tired go for it in the last 5 aiming if poss for faster than MP

That sounds sort of P&D-ish? Again good advice, cheers, hellen.

FR - I honestly think you don't need any specific training over what you're already doing to go sub-3:30. You just need to buff up your balls, start of at 7:45-7:50 pace, get in a rhythm a few miles in and keep it going.

Cheers, emdee, it seems very apparent that I lack any confidence in my very limited ability.

Without speedwork / hitting thru tempo pace in training (but if your do Parkruns / races that's covered anyway) then id agree MP paced stuff in 16 mile or longer runs. I'd do longer than 5 miles as you've the endurance to cope an need the pace ingrained. Just not every week.
Start with 6 or 8 and keep an easy mile or two on the end rather than all upfront just to ease back out of it.
