Sounding promising both of you.

Don’t worry about the butterflies in the stomach Mark Jingle All The Way, J πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ the secret is to get them to fly in formation.

Ah formation fluttering. That's a great plan, I like it. Nice going too tipsku. It's going to be a good year, I can feel it.

I’m chugging up to the startline in decent nick thus far. A pal of mine had to dns Berlin a couple of years back with food poisoning, so I take nothing for granted.

I like to replay this little video around now to keep a bit of context. It applies to any marathon but features London.

Although my mileage has been consistent, I don't have the quality workouts I was hoping for due to a hamstring issue and I'm not sure at this stage what I'll be aiming for on the start line, but keeping my options open for a 'strong run' rather than a pb attempt.

I'm pretty happy with how things are a month out. No ill effects other than a bit of tiredness earlier in the week from my back to back weeks of quality long runs (this week will not have any effort as part of the LR), no niggles etc. Need to maintain mileage over these next two weeks and then I will have a two week taper. Also looking out for some short races to jump into - will probably jump into parkrun on Sat and ideally some 10ks in the next fortnight. I like a bit of sharpening near the end of the cycle.

A big 37k with some MP reps today. One more week of silliness before the taper. Just need to hold on πŸ˜‚πŸƒ

What's everyone else's long ones look like this weekend?
