Great photo Solo You're flying and you look so happy.

Grizzly pics from you, Hills of Death (HOD), literally. That looks like a tough mudder.

I did my first 30k run tonight, 20k with a friend; we had to run fast for 5k to make it to our next appointments; 6k slow with the beginners and then 4k easy home. I only need a little fruit bar for it and about 0.3 L of liquids.

Btw great 10k tipsku - blazing fast! I'd be thrilled with a time in the 43s.

On the racing before a marathon question, I'm a fan of a 10k race or two in the month before a marathon if I can make them fit. Distance wise it's helpful for training running threshold pace and more marathon specific than a 5k. Plus I have never run a good 5k while marathon training even though I've run a good 10k so there's that!
