I got lactate done too via blood measurements. Whether it changes anything I do is a different matter, but I like data for data sake, and it was a "gift" experience for me anyway, so it's just something to add to the bucket of things I know about myself. Lactate may well be the more useful thing to have had measured, tbh.

I thought the hr and speed at LT1 and LT2 vas interesting too. Did you get those numbers?

Those numbers make sense, as that's what you're generally trying to improve for long distance performance.

Garmin has me at 59, and I got a 59,9 or something like that on my V02max lab test.


I looked back in my results, it was 59,3 a year ago, not 59,9. So pretty close to Garmins estimate. And correlates well with predictions in race times and so on.
