Good luck to tomorrow's racers.

I shall be out supporting at the Brum tomorrow. Mara goes off at 8:30 and 9:30, HM at 13:30 with other waves after. Sailor if you're in distinctive kit, I'll try and look out for you. I plan to get to various spots on my bike and with a couple of loops in the middle should see runners a few times.

RunBritain handicap down to 1.1 as an 800m race from 3 Sep has finally been added :-). Will be nice if XC season can take me into the zeros but I probably don't race enough during that point of the season.

Baz, Uyuni, SPR, thanks folks - no excuses.

SPR, I will be the old, bald geezer in a Gosport Road Runners vest, yellow/white; There are at least a dozen of us entered - I'll be the one with Steve on the front!

Thanks for all the good wishes, and I hope Steve has a good one at Brum.

Forecast, considering it's the Scottish Highlands in mid October, is amazingly reasonable, with 13C, light rain and 9mph winds - happy with that.

Legs have been feeling better each day this week - whilst I wasn't bouncing down the road earlier as I had a wee walk down the village to buy in some beers for tomorrow evening, I thankfully seem to have got rid of that leaden feeling. Hopefully one more sleep will have them in tip top shape for tomorrow :-)

Looks like 239 entries, with a few late entries to be added, then the usual %age of dropouts, so think I'll be running pretty much on my own after first few miles. And of course there's no trackers ;-)
