Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

As long as the new legs are a bit longer than the current pair I don't mind LOL!

Yeah, the injuries seem to have gone. Bit of trouble with asthma instead though! Got some pills from the docs today though, so should be sorted.

Events have conspired against me for this mara, but at least I'll still make it.

Well, they are steroids!

I'm planning on coming in maybe 4th or 5th place so that I'm not sent for drug testing.

I was just thinking that sub-3:15 would be the logical step after sub-3:30 but I then worked out how fast it is a minute. Crikey!

controversial
it is a bit of a change 5.00 min/k to 4.38min/k but quite a natural step up ... You can start increasing your 10 K speed, then half marathon and then full marathon.

Ooh, the thread is alive again.

This year has gone to pot completely for me, but I'll be targeting 3:15 for a spring marathon hopefully.

Along with a 90 min half and a 40 min 10k if all goes to plan. Not asking much is it?
