I've usually got a list of chores that need doing for here, mum or MiL and a plan of what training I intend to do - and then something gets in the way of one or the other |

My list yesterday was very long and most of it didn't happen (mainly house work) but I did end up with some nice new bras after a fitting 🤣

I am busier than I've been for years and have no problem filling my days, I usually plan what I'm going to do on the preceding evening based on weather and priorities.

I am fairly busy in retirement. 3 full days committed this week - one a day out with friends, today involves meeting friends then visiting my dad and the other is a fundraising event with friends followed by visiting my dad. On other days I get up when I want, do something, have breakfast, gym or run and household stuff (grocery or DIY shopping), lunch, prep tea, some pottering, go for a walk along the beach, tea, bath and pjs, tv/crochet, bed I try not to have too many booked up days or I start to twitch. |

Not much planning goes on here either, Pix. I always have at least 2, sometimes 3, dogs to walk, I potter around the house tidying, putting washing on, hanging it out, etc, sometimes have lunch or coffee dates with friends, visit or look after the grandchildren, decide to declutter a drawer or cupboard, clean something. I haven’t touched my garden yet this year (because we’ve been away for 7 weeks in the van) so there’s that to do too. |

Sigh
Today's random task in retirement: helping our daughter clear out all her unwanted paperwork from school, after completing her last exam today (she's sensibly keeping her maths and English stuff in case of re-sits, and her IT stuff as that's her chosen subject at college). All off to the beach tomorrow, with the dog. |
