Maybe when you do your daily call you could read to her. If she gets interested in the story she might be motivated to. Or is there a barrier? Failing eyesight?

Good work, Pix
I've done eleven weights sessions this month so far and should manage at least one and possibly two more before the end of November. I need to rake through my previous bouts of doing weights, because I think I'm close to my previous maximum on a couple of lifts. I'm planning to continue into December. Climbing walls are reopening but I'm bothered that the holds will have so much hand sanitiser residue on them that my hands will itch and peel.

Nice one Pix.
Good week this week. Jennis on Monday, bouldering Tues, night sea swim Wed, night ride last night. Most importantly I nearly bottled it Wed and Thurs - I’m not sure if it’s lack of confidence about the activity or the social bit but I keep avoiding thing. I reminded myself that I never regret doing stuff but frequently regret not. Enjoyed both the swim and the bike, and the social bits.

It's not the slippiness, Pix, that's a feature rather than a bug on some climbing routes. I'm allergic to hand sanitiser, and also to liquid climbing chalk. I'm the sanitiser equivalent of Hidden Disabilities but there isn't a special lanyard for that.

Does the sanitiser not essentially evaporate before they touch the hold? I never even thought about residue on holds. My hands are not compatible with sanitiser either but can cope with the small amount I am forced to use.

Also very impressed with night swimming and not bottling.
I don’t like liquid chalk. I’m not allergic to it, I just think it’s weird.

oh Sharkie as the avid reader amongst us picked up a lovely yoga book that I got about half way through about 3 years ago!
Pondering starting from the beginning again! It's one of the lovely books with lovely pages and lovely pictures too! Bought it before I left teaching when I first started yoga for stress relief
