15 minute rule sounds sensible.
Can you gently prod your brain and discover if any of those piling up things realy exist, and if they do are there any worth tackling. One at a time!

Did I post I did 200 squats the other night as part of my five time weekly cross-training / strengthening program? I can really tell difference in my legs after three weeks now
What I need to do now is start including work for arms and upper body

Impressed, DT! I dodge squats because they interfere with my running.
I've got my boxes ticked this week. Two weights sessions, one tempo run. But I'll do weights again tonight. Alternate days doesn't seem excessive for now.

DT that is dead good about the squat results! Does it encourage you to do upper body stuff? It would me.
V-rap, please explain 'I dodge squats because they interfere with my running.' Obvs I believe you but am interested in why.
They don't for most people but no one person is most people. I know this truth via 'More slow miles make you faster'. No! Not me!

DT, how do you do your squats, if that's not a stupid question. Do you do them with weights?

I’m very encouraged to move on to upper body work. I have always responded well (and I think relatively quickly) to training work but have arms like a child’s having never done gym or weights
I like squats and am convinced they help with hilly running, which is basically all I do. Everything I do is hilly! My dog walk this morning was 2.45 miles / 528 feet climb

Body weight only Dio
Years ago I did the 200 squat challenge which can be found online and followed their program
I’ve been doing glute bridges too, which I’ve never done before

I get DOMS in my adductors (mostly) quite unpredictably from squats. The first session, obvs., I expect that, but sometimes a session that I should be able to handle leaves me stiff-legged for a couple of days. This time round hope has not triumphed over experience and I'm not attempting them. They're not that important, it's not as if squats will give me shapely shoulders in a running vest

That was a bit of a surprise. I just did the intial squat test to find my level and managed over 30 easily. I still think it will be good for me to do them daily.
