One month on and the taller plant is 35cm but has a split in the stem and starting to wilt. The other is just under 30cm but seems healthier.

Nineteen out of the 30ish seeds from my first batch are sprouting so far (there may be more to come; that's up from thirteen last night) and I've just buried another 28 seeds in soggy compost.

No sign of germination here yet, guess they need more than 3 hours?

I'm looking at my new batch every time I go into the kitchen despite the other batch having taken several days to show any signs of life.

I have 13 germinated, I am quite amazed as it was an old packet of seed and I sowed them on the off chance but they all popped up. Not as impressive as ERs yet though.

They are impressive. I’ve planted some in the class I’m supply teaching at the moment. They’ve all germinated which the class is very pleased with. Not as impressive as ERs but at least they’re growing. I’ll try and get in early tomorrow and get some pictures.
