Oof, that hill out of Pontypridd was steep and was hard work.

Either my "walk" around Pontypridd beforehand tired me out, or, more likely, it was the real very thorough kitchen cleaning I did yesterday afternoon in barter payment for my lodgings which didn't do my legs any good :-p . That meant I managed to run only 8 miles today instead of the usual 13/14.

Only four miles for me today. I'm 10% done, 57.8 miles in and on the edge of Newbridge. Some of that four miles was at sub 4:20 min miling so I won't be doing much else today.

I reached England's green and pleasant land last night, and it seems green and not unpleasant. Don't get to see much land though.

I think I once biked up this road, too, on LEJOG many years ago.
