Was having a great ride on Monday, then fell off and broke my arm. Not on any difficult off road bits, on a sodding road, ffs.

Thanks all. Already feels a lot better than it did. Getting a bit of use back, and not too painful. Looks like it was a pretty clean break. Could have been a whole lot worse.

But you feel like such a prat, lying there in the road like a dying fly :-)

And was supposed to be going to Glentress for a couple of days next week. Still going, but it's a walking holiday now :-)

I've just ordered a Trek mountain bike from Evans. Should be able to pick it up early next week. 'Cos of my little leggies, the seat post has to be cut down when it arrives at the shop!

Looking forward to riding round Swinley Forest.
