Have you ridden the new blue at Cannock yet, quimby? It’s lovely :-)

I have not. I've had a read of this:

singletrackworld.com
and it's on my list to work back up to. Need to get some bike confidence back first, it's been quite a while.

Only issue I ever had was a tyre exploding iff the front rim, damaging the rim in the process, at the bottom of a series of steps.
It transpired to be a tyre fault and the manufacturer, Schwalbe, bent over backwards to fix it.
I did a LOT of riding back then, on a 29er HT.
Tubeless is the way and why I invested in a tubeless wheel set that would take my old fox fork (bolt through) for my e-bike.

Lots of miles and not that many issues .

Ripped one enough that no amount of sealant would fix. One off the rim due to running low pressure.

I have tubeless on my cx training wheels and to be honest. It is good for being a gravel bike but not good for CX . Mainly I can't run low enough pressure and then it burps when you flying mount so again lost a rear off the rim..

In the early days of tubless I had a tyre burp on one of the tight fast corners in the final descent at Afan. That was rather annoying.

Love tubeless. And it’s got better and better since I first started with it. Sealant is better, valves are better, and the choice of tyres is bewildering frankly.

Since the last appearance of Kaph, some time ago... there are now three wheel sizes, and now new plus (+) tyres for the even more adventurous!

26 / 27.5 (650b) / 29 / 27.5+ (650b+) / 29+ / fat
whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
