Excuse to go shopping ?

I survived a CX race without getting cramp, muscle spasms or any other disaster, over cautious start followed by having to work my way back to my already bad grid position. In the end I finished a few places above my gridding.

It's not really racing when you don't join in from the start is it ?

Didn't realise you were doing Hope, Cath.

It's not your sort of racing, Gobi, certainly.

It's only one race, better test it and be safe than sorry for the rest of the season

Yes, SW, entered a while ago with Verity. It was a really good event... I take it you didn't consider it because of work?

Hang in there G, tonic water to drink before you ride might help combat the cramps, or mix some tonic with other drinks, obviously test before important events to get the blend right. You probably know that I'm sure

Gin too perhaps, but maybe that wouldn't be the best plan!

Spent the day at Dalby playing on the long red. It's feels bizarre compared to some others I've done - lots of generally easy flowing stuff, barely beyond blue grades, then round a corner and something really tricky hits you in the face.

It'll also be interesting to try and suss where I got completely lost at one point - I can't imagine the grossly overgrown steep sided valley I ended up in at one point is actually on the route.

I need to decide where to head tomorrow so I don't get blown away!

Since the last appearance of Kaph, some time ago... there are now three wheel sizes, and now new plus (+) tyres for the even more adventurous!

26 / 27.5 (650b) / 29 / 27.5+ (650b+) / 29+ / fat
whatever you ride, enjoy it :)

Gravel also welcome :)

Also, is 26 dead yet?
