Watched the eurosport coverage of the Wisconsin World Cup last night. CX in 30C weather, wow. Jens Voigt proving in commentary that he knows nothing about Elite men cyclocross only added to the fun...

Has everyone seen the latest Martyn Ashton video btw of him at Whistler..?
That guy is better on a MTB with only upper body than me with all four functioning limbs...!

Not hard that, Robbo.
Marshalled the 3Pcx on Sunday. Some people really need to learn to ride off road.

Some interesting names on the 3peaks finishers list, Richard Gronendaal, former World Cx champion, Ian Drake former CEO British Cycling and just outside top riders Tim Gould won the 50+ age group. Tim won about 6 years in a row in the 80s and is still active on national Cx scene after winning most everything as a Cx and mountain biker in the80s/ 90s.
I confess to having followed Tim's career for a looong time lol

Tim is a bit of a legend. He is still an amazing athlete... I've watched him race - and podium - many times.

I went to Antur Stiniog today. It was great fun, though I had a rather large off... I'm ok, bruised and my head is aching. The bike is basically OK, Garmin a bit worse for wear...
Thankfully I'd bought a full face helmet. It did its job.
