Regarding the queue, I think they are allowed to leave every so often and for a certain amount of time. I even think there will be porto loos supplied.
I remember what I was doing when Charles and Di wed. I was at a joint RAF/USAF base in West Berlin. The diner was run by the Americans and all the TVs were showing the wedding. The Americans were glued to it and fascinated. The Brits were either ignoring or taking the piss.
Can’t remember what I was doing when Chuck and Di got hitched. But ever since I’ve done my best to be out of the country when it goes into Maximum Servility Mode.
Tomorrow I’m going to the pictures to escape the ridiculous medieval pantomime happening in That London.
