Walking lunges are GREAT pre run. Jay Johnson's vids are excellent for distance runners and have pretty Oregon scenery in the background. Here's a good lungey one: coachjayjohnson.com |

I have mild DOMs today in my quads, just shows how out of condition I am.

I don't have DOMS but I do seem to have re-tweaked my ?iliopsoas ?sartorius muscle - top front central of quads area anyway - which I nigglified during the triathlon cycle stage, and which was almost completely better but is now not quite so much better. I don't think it's terminal though ;-). I suspect it's to do with lifting my knee higher and putting more force down through the leg, than I'm used to.
