Great parkrun LD!

69.02 WAVA! soooooo close to 70. You can get under 28 again, don't you think?

Are you going to blog today's run? If not can you describe it herre please.

Am interested! Especially as to what went on in your head.

Thanks Sharkie :-)

It was officially clocked at 27:42 so a 13 second PB.

I've lost half a stone staying out of the biscuit tin and it has deffo helped. Along with some calorie counting, consistent training and mixing it up with some HIIT sessions off YouTube.

Overall I just feel more capable of holding a higher pace. What I need to learn next is to do it myself and not rely on pacers to chase

And it all started when I joined this thread and for that I am eternally grateful

You all rock !!! :-)

Hey welcome totalbeginner. Its funny I was just thinking of this thread the other day. I'm way off too but will be something to work to

I have already searched for mile circuits I can run on that don't involve road crossings

Welcome TB.

I managed it at the last park run I did for the whole 5 km, but have since had a bit of a running slump. I really should start back again, as sub 9.59 should be my training pace. I have dipped under 8.59 on occasion, and would be lovely to get back there one day.

Just one sub 10 minute mile.
That's all I ask.
You can warm up for an entire marathon beforehand ...
