Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think it’s to do with how the files are uploaded to Fetch. If they’re uploaded as FIT files, Fetch can distinguish virtual rides. But if they’re uploaded as GPX files, virtual rides can’t be distinguished (well, this was the case a few months ago as I asked Fetch about it).

Hmm, mine is going crazy on both laptop and phone.
Will try again tomorrow and if it's still glitching, I'll contact the boss man.

Thanks!

Hi Fetch, yes. When I press the 'build a mile' button on a training entry, a circle runs along the route as if its plotting every available start point along the route.

I tried different routes, closed the site and cane back, and tried on both laptop (Chrome) and my phone (Android, chrome).

I can access existing miles just fine.

I'll try it again now and see if it's still doing it...

I'm glad it's working fine. What a strange thing to happen. It sounds almost like a stuck key or something.

How do I add a Fetch Mile?
Go to any entry in your training log, and look for the Build A Mile link just above the map. Click that, and drag the slider to highlight the relevant mile. Give it a name and a description, and save it!

Fetch's To Do List
6) Some way of picking up your historical visits
9) A way to see your own miles
11) Badges for creators and visitors
12) Everything else.

Fetch's Done List
1) Make run and bike into separate leaderboard tables
3) Ability to add an image.
2) A 'Back' button that returns you to the last-viewed area rather than home
4) Elevation graph
5) Larger clickable area for individual miles
7) Jump To Location box for easier navigation
8) Remove the 'Build A Mile' link if there's no GPS trace available
10) Leaderboard of people who have visited most miles
