Wow! OB that's a great weight loss. I'm sure you will be at target well before your wedding day :-)
Hope you feel better soon Leggy.
Nice weight loss Gromit. I'm also only 2lb away from my target weight.

Major well dones! :) Second fast day on Sunday whilst I'm on shift (and probably too busy to stop to eat anyway).

I have been finding that after being on the diet for a couple of months now, I can't eat too much rich food, or takeaways, or drink much, without paying major consequences!

I'm afraid I've been a pig and lost the plot a bit. Put on a couple of pounds :(

Back on the wagon for me!

Gogsy!
12 weeks, 22 fast days & 13 pounds lost. (One pound more than targeted)

I would not have even considered the plan without reading this thread. Thanks for the inspiration - particularly Bigleggy & Oysterboy but I read everyone's entries.

It really does get easier through time ... which is probably the opposite of other eating pattern changes where it's easy in the beginning but motivation fades.

I need to do another plan now :-)

Well done Gogsy! It definitely gets easier - no one ever died of starvation from eating less for a day or two ;)

I've definitely found the running getting a bit easier with a little less weight. Fast day yesterday, long run/parkrun volunteering this morning, and dinner and drinks (and trying on my wedding dress again!) this afternoon/evening

Some impressive results there everyone. Corrah - think the beauty of this regime is that you know you can get back on the wagon again at any time, and you will start to see results quite quickly without having to face starving yourself for days on end!

I think next week is going to have to be a non-fasting week for me as I'm off to my Dad's tomorrow and then we are off to visit my brother in Spain for a few days. All that cheap booze will be too tempting ... I will do a semi-fast tomorrow, but won't be able to carry it on into the evening as I will be at Dad's and he will be cooking a pie or something which I shall have to eat!

Really struggled today after a hard 20 miles yesterday , I nearly fell off the wagon but I've stuck with it by distracting myself , think i'll defo have a week of not fasting next week tho in the run up to the marathon on April 12th ...............
