Signed up for Edinburgh. It isn't allowed. It may well be misleading bait advertising and using "nudges" online to persuade people to sign up for things is the subject of investigation by both the Competition and Markets Authority and the Information Commissioner at the moment.

Fortunately I don't need to go down that route (though I would like one year to actually apply and get accepted on a GFA with no complications!) but I'd be on the cusp with about 5m30 under the cut off if last year's cut off is extended a bit further.
