How refreshing to hear total honesty. By all means ask for the post to be deleted but thank you.

As with any form of social media it’s easy to fall into a “look how great everything is” cycle. The honesty on this thread in particular is very refreshing.

Sometimes to see that someone else is struggling with something is hugely comforting because we all have those thoughts when the going gets tough.

So a big hug to all the contributors on this thread from me :-)

More hugs and support from me too. Honesty is both refreshing and necessary, even if it also means acknowledging feelings which are no less painful for being true. I adore my boy and wouldn’t be without him but if I had to pay a tenner for every time I’ve wanted to strangle the little toad I would be in life-long poverty. Parenthood has many rewards but it also costs, often more than you feel you have the resources to support. Complicated, innit?

Totally agree with everyone above. At the moment I am worried sick about something that one of my children has lied about and would very happily not be in this position.

Really mundane query but anyone on here have teens with tooth braces? Cedd just had his bottom braces on and he has a removable thingy round his top teeth too. He's struggling to eat but needs all the calories for his hockey training.

Any ideas for non tooth rotting gloopy and very calorific food to get him through the next few days?
