Sorry to hear that Poppy. Often 6th forms have quite a different vibe even when attached to the school, hopefully it will suit him better.

(On another note, how on earth is Boy 2 doing GCSEs already?!)

Yes I'm hoping that as it's his choice, and subjects he wants to do that it'll be enough.

(Meglet... your eldest is buying a house 🤯)

The school app has just pinged to say Cuthbert didn't attend this afternoon. School are currently trying to find him on site. He was in this morning and hasn't signed out. It's not like him to wag school either. I am 90%sure it's a data entry error but he's been struggling a bit to find his tribe lately

I do think schools/colleges really need to double check instead of issuing false notifications.

Child in for third full day of exams, only one lesson missed this week. I dont have much hope of science, she started to mix up the bit she did know, but the main thing is she is in. She said she had decided to man up and I opened my mouth and she said she found my motivating speeches demotivating so i shut it again. Whatevs, yesterday she came home still functioning rather than broken and she’s made every exam, whether in lesson or in the hall, and we are all relieved and delighted.
