Excellent pb's there guys:)

Few beers to celebrate you're respective achievements:)

Miser - relays are just something different from the normal individual xc's as it seems to help the effort level go higher so not to let the team down....only problem i find though is massive gaps between runners. If your lucky enough to get into a scrap with another team it'll drag you along to a quicker time whereas on your own i certainly can't seem to push to the same levels!!
I got third leg so the adrenaline was pumping as the 2nd leg guy came into sight. Was like a coiled spring and shot out the pen as if it was a 100m sprint (luckely i managed to settle quite quickly).

Great blog FF. Really get taken along for the ride.

Sub75 will hopefully be a target to come, but I can't imagine for a while yet. Not one of my splits was fast enough!

Actually, I'll post them here for limited entertainment. Hills (small slopes!) at 3, 11 and 13.

5:49, 5:46, 5:55, 5:56, 5:50, 5:56, 5:47, 5:45, 5:47, 5:46, 5:57, 5:46, 5:47, 0.21m - 1:04(5:11/m)

Next half for me will be in December. Anyone else have on-coming races planned?

I've not quite got a half, 21k in fact but it's also part of a 4day challenge ( last day in all) at the end of november and off road but i'll just be looking to survive it:-o...anything else will be a bonus!!!

Look like pretty tidy splits there Miser..

Thanks guys. Lol at the sub-75 comments. It would be nice, but haven't even got my head around what it would take to get there, or indeed whether it is even possible for my short fat hairy legs.

Nice splits, Miser, I wish my slowest had been 5:57.
Re race plans, I'm going to enjoy the rest of the year, hopefully, though I have to 'enjoy' Beachy first.
Then the plan is to avoid a marathon next spring and focus on getting my shorter distance times down. Though I do seem to have set the bar a bit high :-(
So I'm now investigating races to see which fit the family diary.
