Yes was £35(ish) quid previously. Heck of an increase that!

$295 for New York, $240 for Chicago, €205 for Berlin. The income from charity places has been subsiding standard places for years. Taylor Swift tickets are over £500 - its another way to get 3hrs of pain too. (father to teenage daughter).

When you compare to others its still very cheap (albeit I think the others are overpriced - maybe I am tight!!)

I tend to agree. I think it was £34 to run round Bedford Autodrome a few times.

I’ve thought for a long that London could triple the price and it would still be oversubscribed I reckon. It has been very cheap up until now in comparison to others. As LMH mentioned, laps of a circuit or even events like Milton Keynes Marathon (currently £52/£54) don’t really compare, in my view. Even with the price increase it’s still good value I think, compared to other big races in Europe, and cheap compared to USA races.

Brighton marathon - which London owns is £70 a pop. Given that’s seen by many (including London’s own advertising) as a fallback option, definitely scope for them to squeeze everyone a lot harder!

Made the effort to get out promptly this morning for my long run, still hit some rain but more drizzly than heavy. 18 weeks starts here!

I was fine for the first twelve and a half miles jda then copped a soaking. Fortunately (or worryingly depending on perspective) I'm only up to fourteen miles.

Very much flood dodging here too matty. Not usual at this time of year - it normally happens after Xmas and in different places than I'm used to encountering it. Have I mentioned that I hate training through the winter?
